Designing travel well is an art and Maisanté Travel Design strives for a balance between activity and rest, between simplicity and grandeur, between order and spontaneity. Travel encompasses more than the actual trip. It is the inspiration that took you there and the planning process. It’s what you discover while you’re there and the memories you bring home. While the destination is obviously central to the design process, the client’s personality and travel philosophy are equally important factors.

Similar to Interior Design, Trip Design starts with a vision and culminates in an expertly arranged affair that reflects your taste and preferences. We will work directly with you, listening closely, learning your travel needs and desires, and ultimately selecting the right destination and trip details for you.

The Consultation

Every trip requires careful consideration and specific planning based on the destination(s), number of people traveling and time spent traveling. That careful consideration begins with a one-on-one 30 minute conversation with a travel consultant. The initial consultation is complimentary.

Custom Travel Design Fees

TRAVEL DESIGN FEE

 

At Maisanté Travel Design, we specialize in creating personalized, seamless travel experiences. Our custom-designed itineraries begin with a $300.00 non-refundable Travel Design Fee. This fee reflects the time, expertise, and attention to detail required to develop a tailored proposal that meets your unique travel needs.

 

The Travel Design Fee includes:

  • A complimentary consultation to discuss your vision, preferences, and expectations

  • Two custom price quotes for one destination and one set of travel dates

  • Up to 3–5 revisions to fine-tune your proposal

  • Logistics planning including accommodations, transportation, transfers, and scheduled activities

  • Assistance with simple on-site restaurant reservations at your resort or hotel at no additional cost

 

Following your consultation, if you decide to proceed, you will receive an invoice for the non-refundable Travel Design Fee. Once payment is received, your custom proposal will be delivered via email within 3–4 business days.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The Travel Design Fee is valid for 21 days from the date you receive your first proposal. After this period, a new design fee will be required to begin a revised or new itinerary.

  • Additional destinations beyond the first will incur a fee of $50 per destination

  • Changes to the original destination or travel dates will also incur a fee of $50 per change

LAST MINUTE BOOKING FEE

While it is always better to plan travel in advance, we understand that our schedules and other obligations do not always allow us to do so. These bookings require an upfront initiation fee of $200 (in addition to the $300 design fee). 

 

HOLIDAY BOOKING FEE

Requests for travel between December 20 and January 4 are considered holiday or festive bookings and require an upfront initiation fee of $500 (in addition to the $300 design fee). Due to the limited availability of hotels this time of year and the strict cancellation policies, these fees cover the additional time and resources needed to find the perfect destination available for our clients as well as navigate the challenges of making a reservation during this season.

CONCIERGE SERVICE FEE

For our concierge services, including local restaurant reservations, detailed scheduling and suggestions for self-guided activities during your leisure time, theater tickets, interactions with suppliers on your behalf, and or organizing special events, our rates start at $200 per week of travel.

 

GROUP TRAVEL DESIGN FEE

 

Planning group travel requires expert coordination and thoughtful attention to every detail. At Maisanté Travel Design, our Group Designed Itineraries begin with a $550.00 non-refundable Travel Design Fee, crafted to deliver a stress-free and unforgettable group experience.

 

This base travel design fee includes:

  • Custom itinerary planning for up to two destinations

  • Designed for groups of a minimum of 10 travelers

  • Up to 3–5 revisions to fine-tune your proposal

 

For itineraries that include more than two destinations or more than 10 travelers, pricing will be determined on a case-by-case basis, based on the complexity and scope of the trip.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The Group Travel Design Fee is valid for 21 days from the date you receive your first proposal. After this period, a new fee will be required to initiate any updates or revisions.

  • The fee includes coordination of accommodations, group transfers, tours/activities, and select dining experiences.

  • Additional destinations beyond the first will incur a fee of $75 per destination

  • Changes to the original destination or travel dates will also incur a fee of $75 per change
