When should i book my package?
As soon as possible. Our pre planned trips tend to sell out quickly. Upon paying your deposit. If you opted for an installment plan, you will also receive a monthly reminder prior to the payment due date.  As the date of the trip approaches, you will receive emails on specifics relevant to your trip.

I'm a solo traveler but do not mind sharing a room or suite with another guest, what should I do?
If you're open to sharing a room but don't have a roommate in mind, our convenient roommate matching service is designed to pair you with a compatible travel companion. To access this service, start by making your trip deposit. At checkout, express your interest by selecting "YES to being matched with another solo traveler" and complete a roommate matching request form. This form gathers information about your preferences and lifestyle, aiding us in finding a suitable match among other solo travelers.
 
Once you have paid at least 50% of the balance of your travel reservation, you will start receiving email notifications from Maisanté Travel Design. These notifications include the names, email addresses, and profiles of other solo travelers who have also expressed an interest in finding a roommate and met the payment requirement. This payment requirement ensures that all parties involved are committed to the trip. Similarly, your information will be shared with those who have fulfilled the same criteria.
 
You then have the opportunity to review these potential roommates and select the one you feel most comfortable with. It is important to remember that all roommate selections must be confirmed and communicated to Maisanté Travel Design via email 60 days before the trip departure date. This timeframe allows for adequate preparation and coordination, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable travel experience. This service is specifically tailored to enhance your travel by connecting you with someone who shares similar interests and travel habits. Our aim is to ensure a harmonious and enjoyable trip for both you and your chosen travel companion.

What do I need for International travel?
Passports are required to be valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel. Some countries require a full blank “VISA” page in the passport for stamping purposes. Any information provided on travel description pertains to US citizens only. Non-US citizens should check with the respective consulate of the country(s) to be visited for current entry requirements.

Do you provide ground transportation to /from the airport?
Yes, we provide ground transportation to and from the airport. Additionally, we offer transportation to all dinners and activities as listed on the itinerary. This service is designed to ensure that your travel experience is seamless and enjoyable, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the trip without worrying about navigating local transportation. Our aim is to provide a convenient and stress-free journey, ensuring that you can focus on enjoying your destination and the activities planned.

How much free time will we have?
You will have a considerable amount of free time on our trips. While our itineraries are carefully curated to include enough activities to fully enjoy the trip, we are mindful not to overexert our clients. We ensure that there is ample time for you to explore on your own and truly enjoy the destination at your own pace.

It's important to note that although there are activities included in the trip package, participation in these activities are not mandatory. You have the freedom to choose which activities to join and how you want to spend your time. This flexibility allows you to tailor the trip to your personal preferences and interests, whether that means joining the planned activities or setting off to discover new experiences independently. Our goal is to strike a balance between a well-organized tour and the freedom for personal exploration and relaxation.

Should I purchase travel insurance?

Travel insurance is not mandatory however we highly recommend you do purchase it, particularly during this climate and/or if you have a pre-existing condition. If you choose to do so, we suggest that you add “cancel for any reason” or “cancel for work reasons” to your policy.

 

Although normal trip cancellation will cover you for illness or injury, or for a travel companion’s illness, injury or death, it is limited to these.

 

With “cancel for any reason” you will receive a percentage (usually 75%-100%) of all pre-paid costs. With this coverage if something comes up, a wedding, a new job opportunity, virus outbreak etc. or if the organizers have to cancel due to weather, staff injury or illness or other unforeseen reasons, you will be covered.

Do you book individual or family travel packages?

Yes! Do you have an upcoming itinerary you’re thinking about or planning a family get away? We can handle the details and ensure that you have access to group seating, entrances, and discounts.

Why should I use a travel agent?

Will I pay more if I book through a travel agent?

Our Travel Design Fees are transparent. In many cases, you save more than you spend. We can work within your budget, and we always focus on making sure that you get a solid value in return for our fees.

How does Affirm Work?

Affirm is subject to credit approval. We do not have any authority over your approval. You can check to see if you are approved at check out and it will not affect your credit report.
