CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Maisanté Travel Design Cancellation and Refund Policy

Maisanté Travel Design is committed to curating exceptional travel experiences. Please review the following cancellation and refund policy carefully, as it outlines the terms and conditions that apply to all bookings.

 

Refund Policy

  1. Non-Refundable Payments

    • All payments made to Maisanté Travel Design — including deposits, installments, and final balances — are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in cases where a trip is canceled due to an Act of God (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, or other uncontrollable events).

    • Because we work with a variety of global suppliers whose own policies often prohibit refunds, this policy enables us to maintain competitive pricing and offer flexible monthly payment plans.

  2. No Credit for Future Bookings

    • Payments made toward a current trip cannot be applied as credit toward future travel.

  3. Refunds for Supplier Cancellations

    • If a third-party supplier cancels a service, any refund will be issued in accordance with that supplier’s refund policy. Refund amounts may be reduced by supplier-imposed fees or penalties.

  4. Supplier-Specific Penalties

    • Trips often include multiple components (e.g., airline tickets, pre-trip accommodations, multi-day tours, post-trip extensions), each with its own cancellation policies and penalties.

    • Refunds for cancellations by suppliers will adhere strictly to the supplier’s specific policy.

    • Refunds, if applicable, will be reduced by any penalties or fees imposed by suppliers.

  5. Insurance Claims

    • If you purchase travel insurance through Maisanté Travel Design, contact the number on your policy to submit a claim.

  6. No Refunds Post-Trip Commencement

    • Refunds will not be provided after the trip begins, whether for early termination, voluntary absence, or unused services.

 

Cancellation Policy

  1. Written Cancellation Requests

    • All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

    • Email your cancellation request to info@maisante.com, including the following details:

      • Invoice number

      • Full name

      • Date of travel

  2. Acknowledgment of Cancellation Requests

    • If you do not receive an acknowledgment within 48 hours, contact us at (203) 807-8242 to confirm receipt of your request.

  3. Stopping Auto Payments

    • Cancellation requests apply only to halting future auto payments. No refunds will be issued for payments already made.

  4. Date or Destination Changes

    • Changes to trip dates or destinations are considered cancellations and will incur a $250 administrative fee.

  5. Delay or Missed Services

    • No refunds will be provided for missed services due to delays, State Department warnings, illness, or any other reasons.

  6. Refund Processing Timeline

    • Refunds, if applicable, may take 4 to 6 weeks to process.

 

Travel Insurance

  1. Highly Recommended

    • Travelers are responsible for obtaining appropriate travel insurance to protect against risks such as cancellations, delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.

    • Insurance options are available during booking and through follow-up communications.

  2. Non-Refundable Events

    • Refunds will not be provided due to fear of travel caused by terrorist threats, health concerns, political instability, or similar events.
